Letter-Writing Month

Calligraphy is a big part of letter writing.

It’s not April yet, but I want to write something about letter writing to prepare. Preparation needs planning. I must use the correct pen which matches the right paper. I decorate the plain envelope to become colorful and inviting to the recipient. We all know that Easter Sunday happens on April 9th. All the colors come out on that day. Why should we only color eggs, for that matter? We can embellish our blank paper, decorate it with stickers, and write to our pen pals by hand. One letter a day, a week, or even one letter exclusively for April. If you ask me, I don’t think one letter is enough. I write a lot of letters. I’m gathering my tools for my letter-writing month: fountain pens, bottled inks, colored brush pens, adhesive tape roller, correction tape, rubber stamps, stamp pads/stamp inks, colorful stickers, inserts/tuck-ins, wax beads, wax seal set, and my written thoughts. Oh, don’t forget the postage stamps. Did I miss anything? Are we ready to do this? Yes? Yes!
