The Dawn of the Letter Writers Society

Bills, junk ads, and unwanted real estate promotions are the bulk content of mailboxes nowadays. It isn’t very encouraging even to open what they are all about. Of course, you have to open your bills and pay them before they are due, or you incur more interest.

Many millennials say that email and text messaging are the only way of communication in this era. They’re easy to create. They’re fast to go out. They’re acquired at once by the recipient. I’d say those are just one type of communication for me. I’d call those digital expressions of the millions of minds in this world. Do you think that analog died when the microchip was invented? Think again.

Vintage email is probably what I would call traditional, handwritten letters. The only autocorrect I would use with it is an ink pen’s cross-out, not a backspace. Hand-made letters demand more effort, time, and supplies. They have more passionate emotions attached to each alphabet letter scribbled on a blank space. They are alive and kicking, ready to fly, be received, and be read.

I’m not entirely ready, but my mission to write a letter and connect with the world is clear. Do you want to travel on this journey with me? Become a member and start writing letters.
