Snail Mail Contents

You’ve written a nice long letter to your pen pal. Before you seal the envelope, what else do you include inside?

Here’s a list I gathered from what I have included in my past letters. Perhaps you haven’t tried including them in yours, and this will be a nice reference.

Unfortunately, you have to be sure that the recipient country of the items, especially tea bags or seed packets, allows it. If they don’t, your letter might get rejected and returned. Some countries open up letters if they suspect something besides letters is in it. Why? They’re concerned about drug trafficking. Of course, that’s understandable. We have to support the security and safety of our nations. We do know that our kind of snail mail is all about friendship.

Do you think I missed something? Comment below if you have included items that I forgot to list. Until our next blog…

I’m scent sensitive, so I wouldn’t appreciate perfume or air fresheners. Just so you know…
