Do you ever get that “writing funk” feeling? No matter how much you try to write something, nothing comes out. That’s what I’ve been experiencing since last year’s last quarter. After I succeeded in sending out some letters and even posted a blog about traveling, I suddenly fell off the letter-writing bandwagon. During that, I lost my writing mojo. Can’t find it anywhere. HaHa! The solution I did was to reboot and redirect to something different. I got addicted to crocheting. I finished scarves, a blanket, and a cardigan hoodie. I harvested numerous endorphins creating stitches.
Currently, my letter pile is too high–it needs attention. I always remind myself that letter-writing is a hobby. That’s why I answer letters when I feel relaxed. It’s a fun-feeling talking on paper. It’s my stop-and-smell-the-roses moment. After the holidays and winter stationery, I now use my red and hearts paper pads. I’m in the groove!
How about you, what is your stop-and-smell-the-roses moment?

Sometimes I have to change the place I write, so I will take letters with me when I travel. I am writing back to one of yours today! – Carla
My letters are too involved to bring with me during my travels. I use too many tools. HaHa!
